I know I am a little bit late on this one, but I’ve just came back from the office and it was pretty hectic there today, I just couldn’t found enough time to port it from the forum section to the front page.
Anyway, our member Mauikek that is running a small Italian Symbian Blog has found a brand new application.
Google's native Symbian S60 search client and he posted it over at our forum section early this morning, and in the mean time it appeared on the AAS, IntoMobile and many other mobile blogs as well.
In short, Google search is simple but yet powerful application that adds a shortcut to a Google search box on the standby screen that can be activated by the pencil key. Once activated you can simply type into popup box and search for certain queries and the application will automatically connect to the Internet, perform the search, and finally display the results for the required query using the s60 defualt safari web browser.
By Google this small application allows you to find exactly what you are looking for by searching through Google's entire index of web and mobile web pages and they’ll adapt the pages for your device's smaller screen size, or you can choose from options to search classic, which will bring back the exact same results as what it would if you searched for the same keyword using the PC web browser.
